Pre-Insulated Pipe System

Traditionally, insulation of pipe over water or at height has been a labour-intensive business, performed under time pressure and full of health and safety risks. 

However, specifying FTI’s FibaShield pre-insulated pipe system can cut labour hours on site – and those associated H&S risks – by as much as 80%.

FibaShield is produced off-site in workshop conditions, which is not only much safer than site-work but removes the insulation process from the critical path, allowing full process and quality control.

The resulting engineered product reduces by up to 90% the need for joints, becoming virtually maintenance-free and delivering much improved thermal efficiency in operation.
